An Evening with Rodney Strong: Five Courses, Five Wines
Join us September 29 for a five-course wine dinner pairing Rodney Strong Vineyards wines with a chef-crafted menu. Reserve your seat before it sells out.
Some evenings are just dinner. And then there are evenings like September 29 — a five-course wine dinner with Rodney Strong Vineyards that's been months in the making.
We're hosting the second of our fall wine dinners on Monday, September 29 at 6 PM, and seats are limited. If you missed the September 15 dinner, this is your chance. If you were there, you already know why you should come back.
About Rodney Strong Vineyards
Rodney Strong has been crafting wines in Sonoma County since 1959 — one of the oldest family-owned wineries in the region. Their estate vineyards span some of Sonoma's most celebrated appellations: Alexander Valley, Chalk Hill, and the Russian River Valley.
What sets Rodney Strong apart is their commitment to single-vineyard, estate-grown wines. These aren't blended to a formula. Each bottle reflects the specific soil, climate, and season of the vineyard it came from. That kind of intentionality makes them a natural fit for a pairing dinner — every wine has a story, and every course is built around it.
The Format: Five Courses, Five Wines
Our chef has designed a five-course menu specifically around the Rodney Strong lineup for the evening. Each course is paired with a wine chosen to complement — and in some cases, contrast — the flavors on the plate.
This isn't a wine tasting with food on the side. It's a full dinner where the wine and the kitchen are working together. Expect the kind of pairings that make you rethink what you thought you knew about both the dish and the glass.
We'll walk through each pairing as the evening progresses, so whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or just someone who enjoys a great meal with great wine, you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for both.
What to Expect on the Night
Doors open at 6 PM. Plan to settle in, meet your tablemates, and start the evening with a welcome pour before the first course arrives.
The dinner runs approximately two to two and a half hours — long enough to enjoy the experience, not so long that it becomes an endurance event. Our team will be present throughout to answer questions about the wines and the menu.
Dress: Smart casual. This is a special occasion, but we want you to be comfortable.
Parking: Ample parking is available at our location at 2100 Old Highway 17 North, Suite 106, North Myrtle Beach.
Pricing and Reservations
Tickets are $89 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Given the intimate nature of the dinner, seating is strictly limited.
The September 15 dinner filled quickly, and we expect the same for the 29th. If you're considering it, don't wait.
To reserve your seat, call us at (843) 249-9395 or book through our reservations page. When you call, let us know you're reserving for the wine dinner specifically so we can hold your spot in the right section.
A Note on the Grand Strand Wine Scene
North Myrtle Beach doesn't always get credit for its dining scene, but evenings like this are part of changing that. We've been committed to bringing experiences to the Grand Strand that you'd expect to find in Charleston or Savannah — and the response from our guests has made that effort worthwhile.
If you've been looking for a reason to make a reservation, September 29 is it.
We'll see you at the table.
